Biography

Luciano Cattaneo had his first professional
contacts with the Catering business in 1980. In the following years he developed his professional expertise in the role of business partner and service provider of a major Manufacturer of equipment for the catering and as the owner of a Dealer / Contract company.

Since 1999 he has been dealing with the design and installation of kitchen and laundry equipments for Communities and Hospitality.

His long experience motivates him to undertake, in 2002, independent Consultancy as a Professional, with his own design agency Cattaneo Foodsystemconsultant.

In recent years the profession has been particularly dynamic with Hospitals and Long-Term Care and Corporate and Commercial Catering.

Since 2003 Cattaneo Luciano is a member of FCSI (Foodservice Consultants Society International) World Organization Of Consultants for Catering and Hospitality. Chair of FCSI Italian Local Unit since 2006 Italian representative in the Board of Trustees of FCSI EAME Division - Europe-Africa-Middle East.

Our consultancies are addressed specifically to: concept development, system design, methods and strategies related to the world of corporate catering, hospitality and professional laundries.

The basic idea of consultancy in catering?

Listen carefully to the customer, find out the desired targets and, through experience, submit ideas, suggestions and creative solutions. The difference between a lay-out and the Good Design does not consist in the simple insertion of equipments, but in a set of creative concepts, rational solutions, organization, control of working processes as well as human resources and energy. Simplicity and flexibility in the design: innovative but with components easy to find. Versatile for future changes and growth.
